Sustainability

In 2017, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel has been certified Travelife Gold in recognition of its commitment to sustainable development.
Our hotel has been rewarded for its continuous efforts in terms of environmental and social responsibility through various actions to reduce water and energy consumptions but also wastes production and the use of chemicals. (Know more here). 
Travelife also rewarded our promotion of the local culture, and our support of the local economy as much as possible.

We are committed to protect our cultural and environmental heritage and act as a responsible economic player with strong local roots. We pledge for a more sustainable tourism, leaving a positive impact on Mauritius. Since 1st November 2020, we offer a zero single-use plastic experience to our guests.


Sustainability report

Our core strategy revolves around protecting the environment, supporting our economy, and caring about the local community. In the last three years, we have worked to reduce our footprint while increasing the positive impact we could bring around us.

Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel being managed by the Attitude Hotels group, our hotel figures in their Sustainability Report 2020, published in 2021. It contains initiatives and measures taken by the group with clear objectives and Key Performance Indicators for the Financial Years 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and 2019-2020. This report covers the progress of the 8 hotels of the Attitude Group and Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel, managed by Attitude.

Travelife certificates

Travelife is an internationally well-known accommodation sustainability program. Travelife certification procedure gives us the opportunity to improve our environmental, economic and social impacts thanks to practical tools and resources.

In 2017, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel has received the Travelife Gold certification which has since been renewed every two years. You can view our current certificate right here!
